The TX-NR905 is the world’s first A/V receiver to incorporate HQV Reon-VX video processing. HQV Reon-VX will scale all video signals to 1080p without the visible inconsistencies found in less competent scalers. It also provides remarkable support for standard and high-definition deinterlacing, for filtering of jaggies and artifacts, and for the reduction of random "mosquito" and codec noise.
